Paolo Scheggi, artist from Florence, moved to Milan in 1961, where became part of the cultural milanese world . he is focused on visual perception and integration between real and virtual spaces. Reworks Lucio Fontana's spatialism who introduced him in 1962 at the Gallery "Il Cancello di Bologna".

His activity alternates object-paintings, modular elements and curved Intersuperfici or reflex zones, using for all his research the monochrome. It realizes important international collaborations within the world of fashion, theater and cinema where the modularity of his paintings is extended in space.

In the last years of his life Scheggi endorses the conceptual events closer to the field of theater and performing. The Cortesi Contemporary gallery presents, until May 15, 2014, an articulated exhibition devoted to a comparison between the historical research of Paul Scheggi with the most recent survey of Lucy Skaer. The two artistic generations dialogue, revealing common points of interest and thematic continuity.
