Grazia Varisco's artistic research begins in the 60s with experiments of group; his membership in the Group T, together with Anceschi, Boriani, Colombo and De Vecchi, allows her to participate in numerous events where she meet Italian and foreign artists whose interests are moving in the field of perception.

In the mid-sixties Lucio Fontana bought the first work of the artist, this step marks the beginning of the Varisco's independent path immediately focuses on the study of light as a dynamic phenomenon and its essence.
The artist uses more static patterns at first and then more and more dynamic to delay the recurrence of the image and expand the spectrum of color variations in order to switch between several colors that donate a greater vivacity to his works. The use of electric motors allows to use an artificial light that subtracts the scheme to a visual inspection of the viewer by relating more quickly lights and shadows.
