The Café Francais born from the passion of Gilbert and Thierry Costes to search for trends, places and talents. The design, committed to the study India Mahdavi and the Parisian study of M / M, was created taking into account the scenario offered by the Place de la Bastille on which the local faces. The sharp contrast between classicism and modernity the resulting benefit fully reflect the flow of life in which Parisian Café Francais is a point of reference.
The restaurant is located where once stood an ancient prison, it was necessary to create a strong visual identity that highlighted this peculiarity transforming it into a unique and exclusive place. Even the arrangement of space, furniture and materials has been designed for the same purpose. According to the same philosophy was also created the ubiquitous deconstructed logo.
The black marbles, brass and copper draw symmetrical inlays. The mirrors positioned according to specific expedient increase the prospects for making sophisticated spaces that reflect. The radical and strict lines drawn on floors and walls are contrasted and softened by the presence of refined furniture and fine materials.
