The Conductor is an interactive installation by Studio Toogood presented to Estasblished & Sons for the London Design Festival. The work that consists of a series of switches in resin, plays with the colors of green and blue. Visitors to the gallery can view and control a rhythmic play of light that comes to life on a giant loop of galvanized steel.
One hundred and sixty fluorescent light bulbs, powered by a tangled mess of wire and cable, light up creating vibrations that seem symphony. The circuit can be completed from the public that has the opportunity to interact with the work and control it from the center console.
