The MaMo of Marseille hosts the exhibition DÈFINI, FINI, INFINI by the artist Daniel Buren.
The seven unpublished and monumental works, specially designed by Buren, investigate the space and transform the perception of the exceptional location for which they were created. The MaMo is, in fact, more commonly known as the terrace of the Cité Radieuse which in 2013 was purchased by the internationally renowned designer Ora-Ito.

The exhibition space takes the place of an outdoor sports center which occupied the top floor Cité Radieuse, a building designed in 1945 by Swiss architect Le Corbusier. Construction was completed in 1952 in respect of all the canons of brutalist architecture. The exposed concrete structure, which featured the volumes, however, is softened by refined elements such as balconies and polychrome facade inspired by the paintings of Mondrian.
The exhibition of the works of Daniel Buren is part of the aim of Ora-Ito to give to the terrace the work of a different contemporary artist every summer and exhibitions, workshops and creative workshops during the winter. The space of MaMo is so absorbed by the lights, shadows and new dimensions of the works that give rise to new perspectives and dimensions of games.
