The Flandrin, historical place in the sixteenth arrondissement of Paris, has recently undergone restoration and renovation work for which the owner Gilles Malafosse commissioned Joseph Dirand, architect famous for designing Chloé, Balmain and Givenchy stores.
Dirand studied for the place, situated in what was the first suburban railway station in Paris, a wise combination of Art Deco and modernist styles. The rare marble, dark woods, ultra glossy metals mixed with khaki, mustard colors and smoky tones evoke classic, luxury and a touch of decadence.
