Inside the redevelopment project euroméditerranée that, since 1995, is affecting the urban soil of a part of the French city of Marseille, the shipping company CMA CGM gives life to a new place. The tower, 143 meters high, is one of the last ambitious projects of the architect Zaha Hadid.

Inserted in an urban context characterized by the presence of large concrete viaducts and the rhythmicity of the columns that support them, the facades of the tower, designed by Hadid, play with light and color to create the illusion of a vertical break and creating the contrast between light and dark elements. The visual effect that results follows the fluidity of two vertical vectors rising from the ground to the sky, at first converging and then separating again.
