A collage of digital-art, colors, textures and surfaces, the Balenciaga flagship store in rue St. Honoré in Paris, is the work of collaboration between the French artist Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, who had already participated in other projects carried out by brand, and Nicolas Ghesquière, creative director of the maison.

The shop incorporates details that belong to other existing stores in all around the world and puts them together in "a sort of map of the universe of Balenciaga, a microcosm that reflects our our international expansion", as claimed by the PPR group.

The boutiques of rue St. Honoré was built in a ex- garage, a large glass front offers a view on the almost complete collection from the street and the penetration of natural light reflected on the sheets of gold, silver and copper used for the realization of floors and ceilings creates a magical and imaginative atmosphere.
