The art of Richard Avedon is not only restricted to portraits and fashion shots that made history in the second half of the 90s. The photographer has also known how capture and tell the dark side of the American Dream: social exclusion, alienation and hard work of laborers and workers in coal mines.

Monaco of Bavaria hosts the exhibition Murals and Portraits, dedicated to the lesser-known aspects of the art of Avedon. For the first time in Europe are exposed works such as "Allen Ginsberg Family", dedicated to the greatest exponent of the Beat Generation, "The Mission Council", witness of the war in Vietnam, and " Andy Warhol and members of the Factory."
