The Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, an oasis of tranquility and beauty, is just an hour from the center of Beijing, offering magnificent views over the Yanshan Mountain and the Great Wall Mutianyu. The hotel was designed by Architect Huadu Desing Co. as symbolic image of the rise of China in the global economy.
Depending on the perspective from which it is observed the building represents different images. On one hand, depicts the rising sun symbol of harmony, unity and infinity. On the opposite side takes the form of a comb, a symbol of good fortune in Chinese tradition. The front view instead invokes the memory of a rising sun as a symbol of the rapid development of China on the world stage.
