


The work of Paolo Scirpa has always been aimed at finding the deepest interiority. The light and space, represented in their spectacular immateriality, are the absolute protagonists of his works. Starting in the 70s changed from the two-dimensional iconography to the polioggettualità.

The interest of the artist is to represent the light in its ideal aspect, providing an image as close as possible to that of the infinite. Light Pipes and mirrors are bent to its purpose. With the works Ludoscopi, three-dimensional installations, offers fictitious depth that do not leave distinguish the boundary between real and illusory.



During the '70s he creates works of a consumer denunciation, to move in the '80s to realizes his first project interventions inserting its glowing swirls in various architectures and environments of prestige.
