With its mix of Australian, Asian and English influences, Chan is the most award-winning restaurant of the moment. The contemporary atmosphere is the work of a collaboration between the designer Andy Martin Architects, alias AMA, with the graphic designer Farrow and technical study L + DG.
The design is so concretized in a black box in aluminum decorated with Asian motifs and a special lighting that projected bamboo canes on tables and walls. The light effects are the strong point of the room: the different atmospheres that create surround the sinuous and sculptural furniture.
