It is scheduled for October 2014, the opening of the Louis Vuitton Foundation, an exhibition space that will house the art collection of LVMH. Bernard Arnault, in 2006, commissioned the Canadian architect Frank Gehry to work on a project that demonstrated the extraordinary economic success of the group.
The building, which will be located in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris, is designed to host eleven art galleries whose aim will be to encourage and promote artistic expression both in France and internationally. The revolutionary use of glass made by Frank Gehry will allow the structure to appear light and bright without sacrificing dynamism.
