The Gingko Bacchus Restaurant is located in the heart of the city of Chengdu, the capital of the Chinese province of Sichuan. Richness, glamor and elegance are the absolute owners of the environments and atmosphere. The interior design was designed by the international Graft LAB.

The spaces are considered rivers, through which customers are floating through the darkness, specially designed to lead to the loss of orientation. The feeling of flow is amplified by the undulated wooden ceiling and by the stainless inlays on the floor. Eight private room border the "river" such as rocks, each differentiated by colors or themes that concern the food or his god Bacchus. The overview of the eight private rooms creates a graduated scale of colors from red to green.

Dark, fumè mirrors and reflective surfaces disposed throughout the restaurant allow to play with space amplifying it and making it even more surreal. Customers are often misled by the play of reflections and illusions believing to be faced with objects that are actually behind them.
