In 2002, the British designer Christopher Duffy began to create a series of products within its kitchen. By the time his creations are becoming more numerous and Duffy London was born in 2004, a large creative space to the east of London in which products are made halfway between furniture and works of art.

The philosophy of Duffy London is based on geometry, illusions and challenges to the gravity force. The crafted creation, made exclusively by hand, of each object reveals new and extravagant designs. All materials are purchased locally, eco-friendly and sustainable.

Among the pieces most worthy of note there are the Shadow Chair, which remains standing on two legs only challenging the force of gravity, the Up Tables, tables of which the top glass panel is suspended on a series of balloons and the lamps LAB that look like pieces of laboratory randomly assembled by a mad scientist.
