
From 5 July to 4 November 2013, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, in collaboration with the Art Institute of Chicago and laTate Gallery in London hosts a retrospective that traces the career of Roy Lichtenstein considered, with Andy Warhol, one of the greatest exponents of Pop Art in the world.



The 140 works on display offer a glimpse of the unmistakable style of the artist whose drawings, paintings and sculptures will blow the world of comics and advertising with the important use of the technique of stippled. The exhibition aims to trace chronologically the different phases of the life of the artist with the exhibition of works known and unknown.



In addition to works like 'Look Mickey', inspired by the figurine drawn on paper of a chewing-gum, war heroes and his 'girls' shooting from the cartoon.
