Baccarat Hotel in New York blends past and present influences to create the atmosphere of a Parisian hotel particulier. One in New York is just the first of a series of hotels that the historic brand of French luxury crystal has plans for the coming years.
The interior design of the common areas and guest rooms has been carefully studied by the Parisian duo Gilles & Boissier, and most of the pieces of furniture has been specially designed. The New Yorkers designers Tony Ingrao and Stephen Sills designed the contemporary restaurant Chevalier.
The architectural firm international Skidmore, Owings & Merrill designed the tower of prismatic glass that overlooking the Museum of Modern Art, recalls the splendor of Baccarat crystal.
